The Burquitlam Capital

The Burquitlam Capital was a trailblazer, establishing itself as the centre of a new neighbourhood with which it would share a name. When TransLink’s Evergreen Line opened in late 2016, the project, situated just 200 metres from Burquitlam Station, made it possible for owners to purchase well designed, roomy and affordable homes while gaining easy access to all of Vancouver.

Burquitlam Capital was built with 189 condominiums, four townhomes and approximately 10,500 square-feet of commercial space. Townhomes and condominiums were designed to bridge the gap between floor space and price with smart layouts that maximize every square foot, not costs. The project was carefully crafted to provide a walkable experience for residents.

The Burquitlam Capital was built to be green. All appliances are ENERGY STAR certified to reduce energy consumption, and every suite features a Central Recirculation Ventilator (CRV) that efficiently fills each room with fresh air. And with extra insulation in walls, electric vehicle charging stations, and motion-activated lights in common areas and the parkade, the building meets the latest ASHRAE 90.1 and BCBC 2012 sustainability standards.

The Facilities

  • The Burquitlam Capital’s fob-restricted gym provides homeowners with a dedicated workout space featuring cardio machines, free weights and workout machines.
  • Certainly, Vancouver or Coquitlam are close at hand, but the perfect party venue is even closer. The lounge and meeting area are ideal for private events.

“We can say that we would not hesitate to purchase another Magusta property.”

The Community

  • Even though Burnaby, Vancouver and Coquitlam have been extensively developed, Burquitlam was one of those few, last great places, with plenty of amenities all around and a SkyTrain across the street. An ideal place to build.
  • The Burquitlam Capital provides a world of accessibility. Lougheed Station is five minutes away, Brentwood Station is only 20 minutes, and just 30 minutes from home is downtown Vancouver.

Magusta and the whole office team have shown a high degree of professionalism. Our apartment buying process was incredibly smooth and quick from start to finish. They were so pleasant to communicate with and very responsive to our questions and inquiries. We would highly recommend them without reservation.
